Fire Chief - Mike Hill

I joined the Chalmers Community Volunteer Fire Department in 1985.  I became a firefighter to help protect the lives and property of the members of my community.

I am currently a Lieutenant on the Monticello Fire Department and have been with that department for 19 years.  I am also a Paramedic with the Monticello Fire Department.  People of our community deserve quality pre-hospital care which makes a very significant impact on the overall outcome of a serious pre-hospital medical emergency.  I wanted to help people to the best of my abilities.

Assistant Chief - Brad Trapp

I joined the Chalmers Community Volunteer Fire Department in 2010.  I became a firefighter because after a death in my family I felt a desire to be able to help others in my community.  I serve as a firefighter, previously held the position of Secretary/Treasurer and Captain with this department.

I am currently the Director of the Chalmers-Brookston First Response and I have been with this department since 2010 as a first responder and now as a certified EMT.  I was also a firefighter on Wabash Volunteer Fire Department for 6 years and a Firefighter/First Responder on the Battle Ground Volunteer Fire Department for 7 years.

In Loving Memory of:  Deputy Chief - Ron Hill

I joined the Chalmers Community Volunteer Fire Department in 1983.  I became a firefighter because of an experience that I had many years ago when Chalmers had a huge fire in town.  I helped the fire department to the best of my ability and as a result soon joined the department.  I have served as a firefighter, the Fire Chief and I currently hold the position of Deputy Chief with this department.

Lieutenant - JJ Ward

I joined the Chalmers Community Volunteer Fire Department in 2013.  I became a firefighter because I wanted to help others and to make a difference in the lives of others.  I want to be a good citizen and do my part to help those in my community in need by preserving their lives and property when needed.

I have also been a firefighter on the Honey Creek Volunteer Fire Department in Reynolds since 2010.

Captain - Chad Dillon

I joined the Chalmers Community Volunteer Fire Department in 2014.  I became a firefighter because I wanted to become more involved in my community.  I want to help those in my community in any way that I can.

Firefighter - Kirk Grumm

Firefighter - Jason Snowberger

I joined the Chalmers Community Volunteer Fire Department in 1999.  I became a firefighter to continue the legacy my mother and father shared by serving on a fire department.  I joined the fire service to serve those in need and to help protect my community.

I previously served 14 years on the Honey Creek Volunteer Fire Department in Reynolds and held the position of Captain on that department.

Firefighter - Ryan Ruemler

Firefighter - Tyler Grumm

Firefighter - Trevor Stinson

I joined the Chalmers Community Volunteer Fire Department in September of 2014 after moving to Chalmers.  I wanted to become involved in helping to protect my community and the Chalmers Fire Department afforded me this opportunity.  Currently I am a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Purdue University Fire Department and formerly a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Monticello Fire Department for nine years.  I find the Fire Service and Emergency Medical Services both mentally and physically challenging which I thoroughly enjoy.  I like working with others as a team and the Fire Service provides the type of teamwork environment I enjoy.I am also an active member of the Chalmers/Brookston First Response Department joining the department in September of 2014.  I absolutely love helping people.  The human body is very exciting and complex and I enjoy the mental challenges associated with providing medical care to those in need of pre-hospital medical services.

Probationary Firefighter - Dalton Martin
